[DeTomaso] First Mangusta assembly question. (I'm proud of myself!)

Jay,

As well as an ill fitting grommet, there is crack prone vinyl tubing of sorts that the wires are run thru.... Not a very glamorous solution, but then they really only had to run 3 or 4 wires thru it!  (Two for window motor and 1 or 2 for door open light).

Lemmeno and I can send you a picture of what it is...you may want it to  look better.  I've seen some interesting solutions in the hot rod catalogs!
