[DeTomaso] zf oil

Jim

I've heard that overfilling may lead to high internal pressures and
overheating. I suspect that it would need to be ridiculously overfilled to
cause that to happen. We recognize that the case is vented to release
pressure. I struggle to imagine how the oil could heat up so fast and it's
volume change so drastically that the air could not be displaced fast enough
through the vent hole and cause the passage of least resistance to be
through the seals. I would believe it in a closed system; however, I would
suspect that it is more well intentioned, yet false Pantera lore.

I would hypothesize that even overfilling by a quart would cause no negative
issues.
