[DeTomaso] Why 2 different styles of front L type bumpers?

I do.

Many cars are wearing fiberglass replacement L-model bumpers from Hall 
Pantera.   The mold shrunk, and the bumpers he's made for the past 15-20 years are 
physically smaller than they were originally (and smaller than the original 
bumper was).   The original bumper was perfectly flush with the fender.   Hall's 
very clearly don't fit right.

This looks a little weird, but as more and more people switch to them, the 
ones that look 'correct' are now the ones that look a little weird!
