Slightly different question - how long will a car run ONLY on battery power
- ie your alternator is shot?
You start with a fully charged battery but your charging system has gone
south. You have no electrical devices (radio, A/C, headlights) operating.
You are just cruising at a steady 60mph on the high way. How long will it
take your ignition system and whatever else to run down your battery?
