Mark,
If you are trying to simulate what works on a race car
in a street application good luck... 
My car will run approx 10-15 degrees above the
water temp say 190 and oil at 200-205 on the street
It takes three laps tapped out on the Race track to 
get the temp to 280 plus.... if you can do this on
the street you are heading for jail....
 
I always think the new cooler is going to work
until I hit the track and find out what the real world
does to the systems of the car
