Just to throw out some comments that have not (recently) been mentioned, and to
wake up the Dawg by hitting him in the tail with a stick...

If there is positive pressure at the front cowl area (below the windshield) what
about sourcing air from there (cut the cowl ???) and directing it thru the
passenger compartment via one or two tubes, perhaps down the console to arrive
at an air-oil cooler, or carb intake? (Yea probably BIG holes.)

Or what about taking air in from the air dam duct(s) one or both, piping it back
perhaps thru one or both rocker panels ?

If the goal is to take "pre-heated" air, one might prefer to take it from a
positive pressure area and move it to where it is desired. Naturally the front
of the car is the best source for unheated air and probably has the highest pressure.

The roof scoop, besides being a major visual impact (good or bad) gets airflow
from aft of the radiator (hoods with vents).

First, how much (diameter) is needed for the carb or cooler or both?
One 3" diameter pipe? (Or equal cross-area.) Two pipes?

At what average/typical speed is the (non-fan augmented) air needed?

Chuck
