My Motorola and my Sony cell phone chargers say 110-240 volts, als well as my lap top charger does. Check the label on your charger before you spend money for a transformer.Roland JaeckelMikeLDrew at aol.com skrev:

Get a switching type charger. These take any voltage between 100 and
240V and only need a simple adapter plug to convert between the
different outlets.
Switching chargers are easily recognized by their low weight compared to
transformer type chargers.
Switching chargers are pretty much the norm for everything outside of
the US.
First check the rating of the adapter he has, it may very well be that
he is OK already and only need the adapter plug.
