[DeTomaso] Ignition Switch

My car would run intermittently and sometimes not at all if the key didn't come to rest in the "perfect" sweet-spot to make contact in the 'on' position and keep it running once it started. And even if I found the sweet spot and it kept running, I would hit a bump while driving down the road and the switch would lose contact and the car would die, and I would frantically jiggle the key to find the sweet spot again, sometimes without success.
 
The ignition switch (and I believe the entire steering column) is shared with the 71-74 Capri. 
I purchased a new ignition switch (only the electrical contact portion) from http://www.teamblitz.com/.
