Yup, I would assume. Any good mechanic would check or measure everything on a 
37-yr-old performance engine before shoving it out the door. A Good Mechanic 
believes nothing and no one uness it's been checked in his presence- and some 
won't unless they personally do the checking. Thats one reason why crate 
engines are cheap and custom engines are expensive. Good luck- J DeRyke
