[DeTomaso] Garage hoist / lift - suggestions?

I've got the Rotary Revolution XLT 4 post. Very pleased with it. For your
own safety get a lift that has been certified by the Automotive Lift
Institute http://www.autolift.org/ Most Chinese lifts "claim" to meet their
standards but have never been tested. Of course they claimed their
children's toys had no lead paint. And their dog food was safe.

I just bought one and put it together myself with some family help.
It is a Revolution Rotary 4 post. I opted for the non XLT as it is smaller
and fits my garage better.I wanted to work on my car more easily and store 2
cars in one spot. I have an Acura under it with plans for a GT5S or Cobra
on the bottom eventually.

The quality is superb and the welding and gloss powdercoat looks like
artwork.
If you want pics or more info I can provide. Made in the USA and purchased
from

http://www.kwiklift.com/

If you get it shipped free by Yellow Shipping and put it together your self
with a friend you save tax plus the 600 $ installtion. Two people can do it
all except two you need 3-4 people to avoid injury for two steps-or at least
an engine hoist.

One thing to consider if you do it yourself is box size/transport. My box
was 14 feet long 3 feet wide, 3.5 feet tall, and 2,000 lbs.

Only complaint I have is the 220 volt does not come with cord/plug for
electric and some of the hardware needed metric and some SAE. You can get
110 V but takes longer to lift.
