During the years that Ford imported the Pantera, the engines fitted were 4V.
After Ford quit producing the 351C in the United States, they shipped the
tooling to Australia.  Once the supply of US 351C's dried up, Australian
built open chamber 2V engines were sourced.  I think some grey market cars
were imported without engines and had various 351W and 351C's fitted.  The
factory also fitted 5.0L's (and maybe 351W's) once the supply of Australian
351C dried up.
