Yes, some did and mid-'80s T-birds with the turbo 4 cylinder used 4-bolt 
wheels. Years ago, I got a high-pressure spare from one mounted on a 
forged-aluminum wheel, and adapted it to the 5-on-4-1/2 Pantera pattern to clear monster 
brakes. Worked fine. FWIW- J DeRyke
