Trev,

Come to the Fluid Flush Fest II event 2/23 and it can be reviewed, just
don't WOT on the way here! I might suspect the throttle cable/linkage in
the carb area. Also, I had this experience, and it was the air cleaner base
plate.

Well...after almost 3 weeks of unrelenting rain...I finally got the car up
to be dyno tuned last week.

383 HP and 388 FT-LB at the wheels. For a FRP Windsor 392, Holley 750, Hall
Windsor Headers, Pantera Performance Pre-L exhaust, Pantera East Billet
Aluminum Wheels, Michelin Pilot Sport 335/35/ZR17 tires.

The dyno chart: http://www.fougere.com/pantera/images/dyno.jpg

Dyno page: http://www.fougere.com/dyno.asp

This puts the numbers at the flywheel...assuming 15% loss...at 451 HP, 457
FT-LB Torque. Not the most powerful Pantera on the planet...but more than
adequate for a raconteur like myself.

During the tuning session, my throttle managed to stick one time. This has
since recurred one more time at WOT shifting from 4th to 5th. Don't ask
where. Shifting into neutral and kicking the pedal knocked the throttle
right back down immediately. I have a 6K rev limiter on the MSD 6AL, but
wasn't expecting to use it under quite these circumstances.

Needless to say, I want to address this immediately. I have been told to
try a motorcycle shop for some kind of lubricant that gets attached to the
cable. The throttle cable is brand new. I'm open to suggestions...

Thank you in advance
