Keep in mind also that not all   Panteras 'fit' some fiberglas low profile 
headlight buckets from our vendors very well. I remember one such 'kit' often 
used on early Panteras, that took several weeks of sanding, filing and 
bondo-work before its contours were deemed an acceptible fit to a wide-body car. The 
owner was not pleased with the amount of work required on top of the substantial 
price charged. Then of course, they needed paint.... 
 A second approach are the 'kits' that use your OEM steel buckets cut down, 
with the top that fits in the fender opening epoxied back on. This has the 
advantage of not needing paint, but several owners have found these tops flying 
over the top of the car at higher speeds as the glue bond failed, one causing 
some damage to the roof. There's a large amount of aero-force on those buckets 
even with the headlights down, at high speeds. Remember Al Bloomberg's lights 
that rose up at speed, shearing a 1/4" bolt used to lock the lights down at 
Bonneville? Mechanical attachment of the cut parts or a one-piece bucket seems a 
stronger, more dependable method for 'low profile' headlights. FWIW- J DeRyke
