my 2 cents after reading the posts the last few days...
i HATE vegas and am glad to see it in the rearview mirror on my way to
and from pahrump. i only go thru it because i have to. i don't stay in vegas
and couldn't care less if there's an open bar or not. if you want a beer,
pay for it. what's the big deal?
coming from colorado, reno is an extra 300 miles but i'm cool with that
because the track event is such a great deal. for me moving the whole event
away from all the BS that is vegas is a massive PLUS! this venue would also
put the racers in closer proximity to the other attendees instead of making
us choose between vegas and pahrump accomodations (an easy decision for me).

i also like the idea of having it a bit later date-wise. this could
help attendance at the big bend open road race by putting these 2 gigs a
month apart.
vegas can bite me. there, i've said it and i'm GLAD i said it.
