A stock clutch disc has NEVER been available from Napa.

Panteras use a unique clutch. Although a Mustang clutch will physically
bolt up to the back of the Pantera engine, the pressure plate and disc are both
different. Normally when you put a Mustang disc in, you don't get enough
release, and when you put a Mustang pressure plate in, the fingers of the pressure
plate hit the inside of the bellhousing. The only way to 'fix' that problem
is to adjust the slave cylinder so that the clutch is always partially
depressed. This will cause the clutch to slip and will demolish your throwout
bearing in short order.

Some clutch manufacturers still sell a dedicated Pantera clutch; McLeod is
one of them. Although they normally sell them as an assembly, you can buy the
individual bits if you need to.

You have to buy them from a McLeod dealer. Since Dennis Quella happens to
be a McLoed dealer, the no-brainer is to just get one from him.

Mike
