[DeTomaso] Choke wire

Will,

On the back of some replacement alternators, there is an extra pin for the 
choke. It is a lower volt feed and will not start voltage until the car in 
running so your choke will stay on. The lower voltage also keeps it from 
opening to soon.

I stay away from full 12 volts for those reasons. Good luck.
