[DeTomaso] Torque wrench question

I've been looking 1/2 inch torque wrenches in the 25 to 250 foot pound range.  Some have a pivot at the socket end, I suppose to allow the socket to sit squarely in hard to reach places, but it seems like most of the time, the pivot could make it harder to keep the socket squarely on the nut or bolt.  Comments based on experience would be appreciated.
