Electric Choke:
 
Is it much effort? Can be. You need an electric choke conversion  kit if your 
carb didn't come with an electric choke. Then you need to route a  wire from 
the electric choke plus (+) connection to Fuse #12 (all Holley  carbs use 
ignition switched 12V for the choke heater  ...... Ford electric  chokes use 6V). 
Then you need to route a ground wire from the  choke minus (-) connection to 
chassis ground.
 
Is it worth it? Depends on the climate you are in and the  convenience you 
want. Converting to electric choke on a manual choke carb will  not be nearly as 
much fun as installing a manual choke cable and doing  it the old fashion way 
..... IMHO.
