Congrats guys - Gary, Michael, Jim. Wish I could have been there - all except for the nakedness.

I'm still planning on making BBORR - so that's 1. I guess that's 3 once you count you guys (Michael and Gary).

>the RoadRunner Open Road Race. There was a little drama here and there but it all worked out well. Jim Cooper and I stayed to make sure they made it and to help out at the finish line. We wound up working as flag men in the shut down area. If Gary says something about me being naked while holding the red flag.......never mind. I thought we should do something special when they finished. We left for home before the awards banquet so I don't know how they placed.

> Gary was the only DeTomaso product out there this weekend. He'll be back for the April Big Bend race along with me and whoever else gets it together. There were bunches of vets from the Nevada races as usual. I keep hearing the Sand Hills race is more like the Baja than I'm up for.
>I'll keep my eye out for a surplus Hummer. Most people think the BBORR is about the "best road" whatever that means. Same situation here. Registration fills up fast and the locals say to get a room reservation ASAP since the oil bidness is hopping and the workers have the rooms. I would really like to put a big group of cars together again for April. People still come up and talk to me about the cars we had out there 2 years ago. If we could get the Houston people and the so far untapped Dallas cars out, it could be huge. Anyway, I'll be there. Take care.
