[DeTomaso] Minimum Battery Size?

Art,, I've run a 1000-amp battery and currently, a 735-amp unit. The first 
weighed 48 lbs, the 2nd only 35- both 'Kirkland' brand from my local Costco. 735 
is enough amperage to spin a smoking-hot engine at 10-1/2:1 compression with 
ease, or to start the engine when stone-cold. 
Remember if you have a dropped battery, the absolute max width battery you 
can use is 7-3/8" since thats about all the wider the hole in the front trunk 
floor can be enlarged. If you still use the std battery mount, about any size 
will work as long as the negative terminal is covered so the hood doesn't touch.
