I suppose a tainted victory is better than none at all. Perhaps this is the
motivation I need to research my 5000RPM plus valve train anomaly.

Ok I'm chiming in... My car does have Hall's GTS exhaust sys. I always
assumed it was stock, but if Gary says he modifies them then there you
go.
I also seem to remember my car made more hp than everyone else's, but
nobody seems to be mentioning that. :>))

Ideally, Gray will chime in and set the record straight. Your yarn is
pretty convincing though. Of course, I pulled the data from our Dyno Day
spreadsheet. We didn't qualify Gray's exhaust as other than stock and I
seem to recall surprise at the high end numbers. You car's gutted Ansa
results were similar to mine.
