Your story could repeat itself in this market. I bought my first home in 1986 and sold it 3 years later. I have bought several since but not sold them......I may regret not selling if things don'y go back to reasonable appreciation. My bigger regrets are for the things I did not buy or actually sold. 1968 RS Camaro that I sold for $4,500 or the 1970 Cuda I sold for $1500. ...........or 69 Charger 440 pistol grip 4 spd for $1200, 69 Cougar Eliminator 390/3spd for $2000, or 68 383 Roadrunner for $850 that I did not buy.  I'd better stop this. I am starting to cry.

My Father sold that $9500 property 2 years ago for $1.6mil.
Cars are a gamble as an investment. Real estate isn't. Unless you are me. I 
bought my first house in 1989. The absolute highest price one could pay. It 
took me 10 years to get my money back.
