[DeTomaso] ZF Questions

Thanks for the info, as usual I am twice as smart with this forum.  I was concerned that I would have to readjust things once the bearings were replaced but so be it.  The ring gear is safety wired, I am surprised they didn't replace the bearings then, but then again maybe they weren't bad then.  The car sat for about 2 years before I bought it.  I purchased the gaskets and seals from one of the vendors so all I need to do is get the bearings and shims.  Should be easy, Hummmmm.  Man I hate the smell of gear oil.

I   also suggest replacing the inner stub-axle (output shafts) seals- they are   also std parts with the numbers on your units. And if all fails, call Lloyd- he   has complete gasket sets and
