I have the early recaros in my car that
I think came in the BMWs (1980's)
They sit lower than any other style
and I have many 6' tall people sit
in them with no problems.   Sitting
with my helmet on I clear the roof.
Since the cage went in I took the
tracks off, cut the carpet out to
get me below the cage for tech
I now have approx 2" clear to the
roof... great seats but they are the
old style recaros.... the new ones
are a lot higher
Curt Hall has the contact for who
is still selling these seats. Curt you out there?
