[DeTomaso] Brake Hoses

It is very often said that the front brakes is doing xx % more of the 
stopping work than the rears.
If we brake the car (softley) with full tire grip, a situation in which most 
braking is done, we could
probabley do the braking as well with only the front, or, the rear tires. 
So, what determines the
procentual brake distribution then? Might it be only the brake balance, OR, 
what influence does the
weight distribution together weight transfer to the front have?
Another thing is braking at maximum retardation, then for sure the tire 
friction (grip power)
balance front to rear dictates how much work that is done (or could be done) 
at each axle.
