3) Nope. The windsor change happened sometime around 87 or 88. My GT5-S, for
example, has an Aussie Cleveland. I know of an ´86 also Cleveland powered. I
know of some 88s that are Windsor powered, but am not sure of exactly when
the change occurred. The majority of the GT5 cars were early 80's, when they
were still using Clevelands.

Dear David,


               1) check the VIN.   Chuck Melton's Registry could likely give

you the VIN numbers of real GT5s.

                2)  it should have squared inner rear fenders in the engine 
bay.   I believe the original production cars were the only ones with the 
stamped smooth rounded rear engine bay-inner fenders.

                3) it will likely have a Windsor as the Clevelands were
mostly gone during production of the GT5s
