Additionally, clean the connectors between the main harness and the
headlight pigtail. They are accessible in front of the front wheels behind
the splashguards.
Corrosion in my connectors caused the headlights to be dim on my Pantera.
You can confirm the quality of your connection with a voltmeter. Check the
volts at the headlamp connection and then at the mainharness after
disconnecting the pigtail. Mine was 4 or 5 at the lamp and 12+ at the main
side of the connector.
