I think the trick here is to have two GPS units.  One cheap one in plain
sight that does very little.  One with the camera data hidden.  When the
police ask for your GPS to check, give them the cheap one.

Of course, Here in illinois, radar cameras have no fixed location, but that
aint a problem.  They are on trailers and get moved from place to place.
However, the are huge and have large numbers that tell you your speed.  You
can see them a mile away.
