I had one once as well. Interestingly, I too could not get it to work
right. Eventually, I just threw it away. I have no problem getting double
pumper 650s to work quite well.

I worked with one on a Pantera for few weeks and never could get it tuned to
be as responsive as the 700cfm double-pumper. The 4010 was a 750 vacuum
secondary. So I give the 4010 a "fair." It is lightweight and less prone
to leak since all the seams are above the fuel level.
