[DeTomaso] R/12 substitute

Maybe, but I talked to someone last year who had used this stuff and was
very impressed. Out performed R134, and was cheaper than R12. I can't
imagine myself being too COLD in a Pantera, so having too MUCH cooling can't
be a bad thing.

Apparently I can't find
R/12, and may have to go to R134, which is readily available. But this
person had good things to say about this freeze-12 stuff.

>>>Ah, but the question really is, can you get it there? That sort of thing
can't be shipped or mailed.

While they don't *make* R12 anymore, there is still a lot of it about. Any
older car would need it, and thus the A/C industry is geared up to recycle
and re-sell the stuff. If somebody there is telling you they can't get it,
I'd start asking elsewhere before giving up entirely.

And if Spain is just cranky and backwards on the topic, remember France
isn't that far away either, and you speak French! Could be a road trip is
in your future!
