Doesn't matter if no one can find anything wrong with the present carb; I remember a rather talented owner of a Nor-Cal Pantera that suddenly developed poor running in ALL the cylinders on one side of the engine. Total rebuilding of the Holley did not fix it, but changing the carb for another one did. Like most engineers, the owner was not so much interested in 'why' as 'how can I fix it in the quickest, easiest way possible?' I believe the errant Holley went to someone with far more time on their hands to play with. Anyway, give it a try; can't hurt and may help. Good luck- JD</font>

Just a guess, but if the cam grinder mis-programmed the machine, for something other than a 90 degree V configuration; you could have one bank of cylinder's exhaust valves opening during ignition which would give you the symptoms you're seeing. <br>

<div dir="ltr">I have a holley 750 with CHI Intake and CHI3v heads. Stock distributor with points eliminator. Thought about timing issues but that probably would cause both headers to heat the same rate?. My spark plugs on the side with the red hot header are a little dark like being too rich, not white or burned like its running lean.<span class="ecxApple-converted-space"> </span><br>
