<div> Stock early tank- thats the OEM fuel-out line which often rusts thru so the tank capacity then becomes whatever level the hole is at. THe easy fix ist to use a late sender that bolts in & incorporates its own fuel-out. This leaves the welded line for an ideal fuel return either for EFI or a carb- it matters not as a return if the line is perforated. Sometimes on early tanks, there's a completely varnished-up filter-sock on the end- also unrepairable. If you have one, tear it off with a ,long rod and fish out the debris.</div>
