He said that's the type he always uses but from Stant. Contrary to expectation, the car never overheated with that combination. <o:p></o:p></span></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:black'> <o:p></o:p></span></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:black'>This water pump replacement was done because I was fearful the OEM plastic-coated timing gears were in there, but actually it was a metal set in good condition. I had him put a new Edelbrock set on anyway "since we were in there".
