I think the first really great-sounding classic straight sixes would be the Jaguar unit which is most pleasing in the C-type and D-type, as well as the Aston Martin DB-series engine. <br>

One of the driving highlights of my life was the ability to spent about 15 minutes driving an absolutely flawless Jaguar D-type replica...epic!<br>

The 240Z is truly one of the world's great sports cars, dramatically underappreciated simply because it's Japanese. If it was Italian it would be worth twice what it is now. They are great sleeper cars, cheap and fun, and remarkably fast. And they are undeniably the cheapest way onto a vintage race grid. A friend bought one and fixed it up like the legendary BRE 240Z, and was sitting on a vintage race grid for under $10K all-in! Next to him were cars costing 10-20 times as much--and he was beating lots of them!<span class="HOEnZb"><font color="#888888"><br>
