Hi Julian,

I an using a Tanks Inc kit:

https://www.tanksinc.com/index.cfm/page/ptype=product/product_id=227/category_id=61/mode=prod/prd227.htm

which Holley (Holley Sniper GPA Series In-Tank Fuel Pumps 19-165) also sells as:

Using a fuel pressure regulator and return line.

  Ken,

With an in-tank pump that will sit in the bottom of the tank and all
you should have exiting is a -8AN Aeroquip or similar bulkhead fitting
if the pump is pressure regulated internally, even if regulating
externally it would just add a -6AN return line fitting?

  Hose ID?

Is alignment of the filler attached to tank, and the tubing it connects
to, what determines the position of the tank?  No other exact
  positioning features?
Looks like 2.25 inch ID, but I assume was metric?
Having Hall Pantera build a SS tank for an in-tank EFI pump and need to
provide enough flat surface for the pump flange.  Need to measure the
flat surface in ahead of the strap for the pump flange.  Because the
strap is positioned by the body, need to correctly position the tank to
see how much space there is.
Can any one conveniently measure how much flat top gas tank surface for
the pump flange is ahead of the strap before the first bend?
  Thanks,
  Ken
