I guess the answer is, ‘that depends’.
As a broad rule I would say any GT5 or GT5-S that is missing its original wheels is worth about $20k less than the same car would be if it had its proper wheels. However, when original wheels do sell it’s often for under $10k for a set. The trick is finding them, which can take upwards of a year or two or three.
By way of contrast, a full set of new production Marvic wheels (with the rear wheels being an inch wider at 15x14) costs about $10k, and that has seemingly established a ceiling on the value of a set of original wheels.
