Ken, you do not need special tools to install nutserts.A Thread a
M10x1.0 nut on an appropriate bolt. Thread the bolt into the nutsert.
After insertion, place a wrench on the head of the bolt to prevent it
from rotating. then with another wrench tighten the nut on the nutsert.
This will compress, or pull, the nutsert and pinch it against the case,

You could probably have a thin nut brazed onto the inside of the cover.
Just needs to keep it in place when off and keep it from rotating until
it's tight.
