[DeTomaso] Glue on mirror

Asa,

You have to deeply gouge the glass to produce a rough surface so the glue will stick to it. 

This then destroys the glass for future use. 

It’s far better to buy pre-destroyed glass from people who have purchased cars with glue on mirrors and reverted to proper door-mounted mirrors, than it is to wreck yet another pair of windows….

A PCNC member recently sold a pair of Omni mirrors and scratched windows, and others have them lying around. I do have one scratched-up side glass available that I got from a wrecked car where the other side broke.
