Strange . . . Since the engine and trans are out of the car and on dollies on the garage floor, I'm going to bolt them up with the original TO bearing I have and the slave mechanism and see how everything comes together. If that works, I still want to put a fresh bearing in the carrier.
Throwing in a pic of 6328 as she comes along. This is the original yellow paint, though it looks a bit green under the fluorescent shop light. Doors hung and latches installed, drip rails riveted in, new Nitto NT05's on the Campy clones, brake booster/Willwood master installed along with the pedal plate, Dynamat laid into the interior, rear window/gasket installed (not easily . . . ), wire harness mostly hung/run. Next up is installing the windshield and door windows/window mech, door trim stainless (all polished). Car should be coming home for final assembly by the end of March.
We've also spec'd out the brake system and purchased new lines and fittings. I'll run all of the brake and clutch lines, then remove the brake master when it's time to bench bleed when the system is fully installed. I've found a great online resource for brake lines and parts called www.thestopshop.com. Great guy to work with, very knowledgeable.
