Not to mention the smell of methane driving thru the Permian Basin. I have
noticed that many of the wells have been capped or removed right by I-20 so
it doesn't look as bad for the passing cars. As soon as you get off and
drive thru the local roads, it's exactly as Fred describes. Actually it's a
good drive taking backroads (180-62) East from El Paso through that part of
Texas to Big Spring.
