A typical remove and replace for most any Pantera Body panel is about 20 hours. You can do a lot of pounding and smoothing in 20 hours of work, plus it still should have all the original fit of the stock lines. Any replacement sheet metal panel on a Pantera is pushing $4000 these days. Add 20 hours of Bodyshop labor to install and then a full repaint, all adds up pretty quickly. I have most stock panels in stock plus we make the fiberglass hoods, decklids, wings and spoilers.

Tomas,
That’s barely a scratch. You definitely do not need a new panel. A good body shop can easily save it. A lazy shop would try to replace it.
I hope you are using an artisan-type shop and not a modern chop shop that just whacks fenders and bumpers off and replaces them every day?
A new replacement panel would be $3000-3500 by the time it was in your hands and that is what your insurance settlement should be based upon. That pays for a lot of repair work to your existing panel.

That was until he found that the panel had buckled slightly just behind the grille . He did say that he could probably form something, but it would require more work.
