[DeTomaso] Dash Lights

I have John's LED gauge lamps in my speedo and tach, they are the only ones that worked in conjunction with my VDO aftermarket gauges to provide an equal brightness. As they are a flat LED you can actually turn them in the bulb holder to adjust light into the gauge as well as use the dimmer, but my dimmer has very little adjustability now and is more an on/off.

Steve,
The lamps simply plug into sockets which are then pushed into the back
of the gauges.

The tach and speedo use the same system. You just have to reach up
behind the dash and pull the sockets out and install new bulbs. No need
to disconnect the wires from the sockets as they are long enough to
allow enough access to do the job.

In all fairness, every time I do something mechanical at the racetrack
they behind my back recheck it. They won't even let me torque wheels
before sending me out to the track unless they recheck it. There must
be some history there somewhere...
