[DeTomaso] Mecum Is Selling This Stunning Pantera At Its Monterey Daytime Auction

Stunning yes, but in a good way? It certainly presents itself well and is a
quality build. But you know what they say about beauty.
Though strictly going by recent BAT sales of modified/custom P cars I would
say it would be hard pressed to end up within the projected 135-165k range
as it will limited to the non stock segment of bidders. It looks like one
of those cars that is better in person and even better to drive. Resto rods
are getting respectable bids lately.
My guess is $105-110k. More if they ditched the two tone painted wheels.
But it will sell with no reserve. Hopefully the seller gets at least two
bull headed bidders who absolutely love this particular car and just have
to have it because the wife likes tan interiors!
But who knows. When a lime green smashed up,dropped off the lift car goes
for $107,250 plus commision then I'm supposin' anythings possible these
days.
