[DeTomaso] Dead Battery

There are smart chargers available that have a desulfating program, not sure how much life they restore to a dead battery, but some unit's ratings are pretty positive.

It depends on how long the battery has been dead.  If a good battery goes dead overnight because you left the lights on and you charge it up the next day, its good to goBut if it sits dead for a month the plates get sulfated up and the battery is ruined.  It might seem OK for a bit but it will leave you stranded somewhere.
