[DeTomaso] Disc Stuck?

Thank you – sounds right, will examine tomorrow. What type of fluid does it take? I have no clue what it currently has.

If the pedal is soft and spongy it is probably not fully extending the slave cylinder.
Do you see any fluid leakage anywhere?
If not, the seal in clutch master cylinder could be leaking, so as you depress the pedal some fluid is leaking by the seal back into the reservoir and you're not getting full pressure and extension to the slave.

You probably just have to rebuild the master cylinder with new seals.

I would start by fixing the soft and spongy pedal. Either bleed the circuit or replace the fluid if it is due.
What fluid are you using? I’ve heard that DOT 5 (silicone) will attract air and cause a spongy pedal.
What clutch?
When I installed my first Centerforce clutch I had to push the pedal to the floor for it to disengage properly. I then installed a long throw slave cylinder and it fixed the issue.

Cheers,
Thomas
