There is more than one style shape. These were 3 piece assemblies with the Grill, over a screen, mounted inside a bezel frame.
You say yours was a Plastic grill? These were originally die cast. We would have to match up what you have to offer a replacement.

Does anyone have an original spare black plastic hood vent grill for
above the radiator?
One of mine flew off on a drive home last weekend.
I can now inspect the top of the radiator without opening my boot lid.
Convenient but ugly...
