I swear Ive seen preL where the bumpers are UP in the center.    (not as much as there)
I believe I sent shop those photos with the comment NOT LIKE THIS
The Instruction to the shop WAS to make then level (outside lower aligning with body side shadow line and inner upper with the hood 
Those group buy from a few years back were not symmetric NOR close to the body fit.    While I saved a couple hundred with the group buy, It was several thousand for shop to fit
And I haven't received a photo of final fit yet.    Hopefully I live long enough for shop to finish

Granted, you don't see too many L cars with the bumperettes retrofitted on the car, but just looking at a pre-L car tells you all you need.  Here is #6328 with the new bumpers test fitted on the rotisserie.  These are the aftermarket Harrington units which are slightly longer than they should be (stick out the ends a bit) but otherwise fit just as they should.  There will be some grinding of the back edge once the body is finished and they get a final fitting.

They don’t look right on this car because the person who installed them is a moron. :(

The bumpers are supposed to be parallel to the ground, which coincidentally is parallel to the top of the turn signal housing. Couldn’t be easier. 

Whoever did this car had apparently never seen a Pantera before so the bumpers were installed WAY crooked, parallel with the top surface of the fender. If they were all built like that we might accept it. But because none of them were built like that, it looks terrible to our eyes. Another heavily modified Pantera sold on BaT a few. Moths ago with the same mistake. It looks super-weird. 

As long as your guys are committed to installing your bumpers properly, I guarantee you will be happy with them. 👍
