                  Consider the source of that  enlightening comment: the
hotcars.com  website and its "journalists".   After I started receiving
their flood of emails about six months ago, I started checking on the
credentials of their knowledgeable "journalist" sports car aficionados.   A
sizeable portion of them are from the third world where I wonder how and
where they acquired their expertise and familiarity with vintage, classic
and modern sports cars.   Also notable is that many of them have hundreds of
articles to their credit.  It appears that they are paid for how many short
vapid articles they produce.   I doubt it is because of a deep and abiding
passion for the automobiles.

                  Looking at the accuracy, depth and topics of their
articles, it appears that they scour the internet---maybe they even read a
book or two about cars---and then they simply cut-paste-rehash what has been
written before under the provocative title such as, "The Top
Ten...Whatever".    They know nothing and write trivia, but emphasize
quantity of webpage articles rather than quality.  

                  They are the epitome of deeply superficial motorsports
journalism.
