[DeTomaso] Header Gaskets & Bolts

Larry,
Right you are. This why I shared a link to the 1-inch bolts.
Wilkinson’s GTS-clone headers use flanges that are a mile thick, and no header bolts will work with them. In that case I use hardened studs and nuts in the opposing corners (I always do, actually), and conventional Grade 8 bolts (suitably lubricated) for the remaining holes. Thankfully his headers are crafted in such a manner as to allow full size wrench access.

The Remflex exhaust head gasket will need a 1" long header bolt.
The standard small head ARP Cleveland bolt is 3/4"
We also sell the Remflex 3 bolt collector flange gasket, a Cinch Head Collector Flange bolt kit, and ARO small head Header bolts.
I also like the Mr. Gasket Composite head exhaust gaskets, as the don't seem to blow out like the others seem to and you can use the small head ARP bolts with them.

Richard,
I'm a huge fan of the Remflex gaskets.
As for header bolts I am a HUGE fan of the ARP small-head bolts. These
are standard 3/8 bolts but they use a smaller 5/16 wrench for vastly
improved wrench access. They look weird and work great.

Anyone have recommendations for the best header gaskets and bolts?
I've got CHI 4V heads and Ansa GTS exhaust system.
I've found the top rated gaskets to be Percy's (XX Carbon and Seal
For
Good) and Remflex. The top bolts appear to be Stage 8, Mr. Gasket
Headlocks, and ARP (non-locking). I want the best setup to avoid
leaks
because I'm going to run a Sniper EFI and as you all know, O2 sensors
don't like exhaust leaks.
